Our recreational classes are designed as an introduction to the sport of gymnastics and tumbling starting with the beginning levels to pre-competitive levels. Our goal is to teach safe, progressive gymnastics in a fun, low pressure environment. We also raise the level of your child’s confidence through accomplishment and improved fitness. We offer a wide range of experience levels from preschool age to high school students. Our facility is equipped with all of the Olympic events, men’s and women’s. As well as a complete gym set up for our preschool program, trampolines, tumble-tracks, and lots of foam pits. We focus on early level skill development and terminology, improved strength and flexibility, balance and special awareness. Our classes also combine compulsory elements (skills and combinations from the USAG age group program, levels 1-4), with basic gymnastics progressions. All of our classes are presented in a challenging, fun, and safe manner. Physical accomplishment and emotional confidence leads to better self esteem and workout habits.
Our philosophy is to teach children a structured class program that can be applied to everyday life as well as progression into competitive gymnastics. We also offer specialized tumbling classes for the athlete who wants to concentrate only on floor. These classes focus on basic tumbling through back handsprings, tucks and twisting skills.
We live in a society that has an alarming rate of child inactivity, with youth encouraged to spend countless hours in front of the video screen. Our philosophy is to teach children a structured class program that can be applied to everyday lifestyle, as well as progression into competitive gymnastics.
If you have not progressed through our levels we will do a free evaluation to place the athlete in the right class. We feel proper placement is critical to the success of the athlete.
